Why did we set up a reporting center?
Our reporting channel has been established in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG). This law transposes the EU Whistleblower Directive into national law and aims to strengthen the protection of whistleblowers. We want to ensure that individuals who report misconduct do not have to fear any adverse treatment within the framework of the legal requirements.
Who is allowed to report?
The law applies only to the workplace. Information regarding violations falls within the scope of the law if it relates to PET TRADE PRODUKTION GMBH & CO. KG (including as a former employer) or any other entity with which the whistleblower has or had a professional relationship.
What can be reported?
Violations may be reported that involve unlawful acts or omissions
in the course of professional activities. These include, in particular:
How do I submit a tip?
You have the option of contacting our internal reporting office or an external federal reporting office. However, the law recommends internal reporting, as violations can often be addressed most effectively within the company due to the close proximity to the matter.
Internal: By email to Hinweis@pettrade.de
External: If a violation reported internally is not resolved, you can contact the reporting office of the Federal Office of Justice online.
What exactly is the internal reporting office?
You can contact our designated confidential advisors at Hinweis@pettrade.de. Only these authorized individuals will have access to your report. Unauthorized employees or management will not have access to the content of your report. All information is treated as strictly confidential in accordance with the confidentiality requirement of Section 8 of the HinSchG.
Tips for Your Report
Please describe the incident in as much detail as possible using the five Ws:
After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation and updates on the progress of your case.
How are you protected from retaliation?
If you experience discrimination after filing a report, the burden of proof is reversed:
The person who discriminated against you must prove that it was not due to your report. The law protects you against, among other things:
Termination or Suspension
Negative performance reviews
Important Note on False Reports:
